Anyone know how many calories you burn during an hour of Moksha (hot yoga)? And how to enter it on here? Thanks!

Depends on the length of class. Moksha can vary. Yesterday I wore my HRM to my 90 min. Bikram class and burned just over 700 calories. This burn is based on an age and weight of 46 and 145. Burn rates are high in strenuous hot yoga classes!

Just enter it as Yoga. It's in the database. There's no real evidence to suggest that doing exercise in a hotter room burns more calories than the same exercise in a cooler room. I think the primary idea behind hot yoga is to allow you to get deeper into poses because you're muscles are warmer from the get-go.....

my only evidence is my heart rate monitor. I had to add my own yoga entry to MFP because none of the prefab entries reflected my actual burn.
