Loads of calories left, what to eat?

I have come to the end of the day and I have 850 calories left, 152 carbs and 32 fat but no protein. what should I eat to eat up all my calories?

Any ideas would be gratefully received. Just going to eat a banana to help even though it takes my protein over by 1g

Going over in protein isn't a bad thing.

I had the same issue last night. I dumped a container of plain Greek yogurt in a bowl. Added a half cup of blackberries and a tsp of honey. Awesome! That would easily put you over your protein goal, but as others have already said that is a good thing.

Just about everything has at least some protein in it, so if you eat anything at all you will go over in protein. It's not a bad thing to go over in protein - just do it. I don't even worry about stuff like that. You've got tons of calories left, just eat stuff with calories in it. (I would try to avoid overly processed junk, though.) I'm a pasta and vegetable girl myself...:drinker:

NO protein?? ...... A pound of chicken

Edit to ask: Are those the grams you have left or have you eaten zero grams of protein for the day?

MFP default protein goals are ridiculously low.

That said, if you're at the end of the day with a lot of calories left and you aren't particularly hungry, then don't eat anything...but then, make sure not to put yourself in that position in the future. This is more of an overall planning problem than a one-day crisis.

    Eggs are loaded with protein!!

    So is peanut butter

I want to eat something protein free as I have already eaten my protein allowance.

you aren't getting it. Think of protein as a minimum. Eat as much as you can.

My favorite topping was always walnuts and honey...yum!

have eaten 1148 of calories today. However I have gained 500 calories in exercise. I guess I am going to have to try and snack through the day or eat bigger breakfast or lunches

I am not very hungry but I am worried that by not eating more I am going under the recommended 1200 calories per day. Can I save some calories for when I go to the pub tomorrow?

I wouldnt think about it that hard...hell, eat whatever you want, as long as its only 850 calories lol...dont stress having too many calories left over especially if your pubbing tommorow.

If you're not hungry then don't eat. If you decide to eat do low carb/high protein like everyone else here has suggested. You can't go wrong with that! I go over my protein every day and I'm losing, so don't fret about that :)
