Can someone help me understand how to add recipe measurements?
How do you enter a 1 teaspoon use if a food item is in the database with a 1-serving size of 1 tablespoon? Does this mean I have to manually calculate values?

1 tblspn is 3 tsp.
so I would put in .3 servings0 -
I enter .33 in the serving size portion because there are 3 teaspoons in a tablespoon0

Thank you for your response!
Maybe it's just me, but I think there should be functionality that does the calculations. I've used other products that let me enter my base information (1 tbsp of butter, for example). Then, when I build a recipe, I put in the number of servings (1), tab over to a drop-down box that has a list of different measurements (tsp, fl oz, cup, pint, etc.). I choose tsp and it does all the calculations.0 -
I've had that functionality before too, but I had to pay for it. MFP is totally free and so I am willing to go the extra step of doing the conversion myself. If I ever have a doubt about something (how many grams in a pound came up the other night) google is always helpful, or someone would be happy to help on the boards.0
