Proper Balance

What is the proper ratio for carbs, proteins, and fats? I have played around with my calories quite a bit because I have yet to find what works for me to lose. I have now gone back to 1200 a day. I will be sure to "net" that many now since before I wasn't. My exercise was messing me up and keeping me from netting 1200. Any advice would be very helpful. I am really trying to eat healthy, exercise, and do it the right way this time.

I believe it's 40% carbs, 30% fats, 30% proteins0
