Yesterday hubby and I went to our local amusement park for my husband's work......It was family fun day!!! Well last year when we went I never went on any of the rides with my son (who was 18 months at the time) so I made hubby go and used our younger baby (6 mths old at the time) as an excuse.......WELL yesterday I went on several of the rides with my kids without thinking twice.....I mean They are only 2 yrs and18 months now but we went on the train, carousel and everything.....I say that's a victory.....I've always been shy about going on rides and some of the never fit in the cars and such. I'm so proud of myself.....

    Way to go! I hated the feeling of "am I going to fit in the seat??" after waiting in line for a roller coaster or something. It was always my biggest fear.

    That is awesome! I remember one trip at an amusement park I waited in line for about 20 minutes to ride the thingee (can't remember the name) that takes you through the rapids and you get wet. I figured since the seats were open I could fit. I was so embarassed (and hurt) when I could fit in the seat but couldn't fasten the seatbelt. I had to get off the ride while everyone watched! That was one of the things that clicked for me and made me decide to make some lifestyle changes and get this weight off.
