I finally received my CPR and life saving certificate from the State of MA. Took em long enough. Now I can finally sit for my personal training exam! ACE won't let you sit for the test without having a CPR certificate and a AED certificate (Automated Electronic Defibrillator). Geez, I've been waiting over a month for this stupid card. Course, it's been so long, I'm gonna have to do some studying again before I actually sit. But I hope to take the test by the first or second week in February! Woo Hoo!

Oh I need it. This test is supposed to be brutally hard! I've talk to others that have both passed and failed, and they all say it's very number heavy, and very anatomy heavy, two very intense areas with lots of formulas and odd muscle and bone names, planes of movement, anterior, dorsal, lateral, isokinetic...blah blah blah.

    thank you!

Did you have to get the certification through somewhere in particular? Red Cross used to give us our cards as we completed the exam for CPR/AED and First Aid. We only had to wait for First Responder cards. That was in Nashua, NH though not Boston.

Good Luck on the rest of the exams.

It just has to be an AHA accredited program, which it was. I took mine in Saugus MA at a gym. it was Northeast CPR that held the class.

Good luck. I'm hoping to sit for a healthcare exam to to get certified in medical coding. It's been 2 years since I graduated sooo. I dodn't know if I could pass now or not. I've got to call the AHIMA and get myself set up for it.

You can do it. Just believe in yourself.
