How do I become a moderator? I would really like to...I think I would be a valuable asset to the MFP team.

    I feel I've been chastized and deactivated enough to know all the ins and outs of proper forum decorum. I believe I'd be a far more adequate moderator than you. So moderators, pick me!!!

    Bwaaa haaa haa! I wouldn't do it if they begged me. I'm a moderator on a site that has about 50k+ posts a week. Once you step into that position it's harder to enjoy the site. Not that you can't enjoy it but you find yourself moderating more than just posting and enjoying discussions.

    If you really must know, just hang out here all the time, post meaningful information, and don't cause any trouble. Someone will eventually take notice. That's about all there is to it.
