Thanks for posting! Muscles are pure awesome-ness....on anyone! I lift heavy and believe me....I don't look like a dude. People are entitled to their opinions...and mine is that muscles rock!0

That's awesome! Thank you for this..I am obsessed with seeing the scale go down, but there was nothing wrong with the inches going down and scale not budging..as clearly shown in this picture.0

Love this!! A little muscle on a woman looks so great, looks so healthy! I can't wait to have a bit more of a toned look, I think I'll look much sexier!0

I started lifting heavy a few weeks ago and its the best feeling.0 -
Best advise I ever received was to lift heavy & ignore the scale. I still obsess a bit with the scale but I have dropped an amazing amount of inches without any weight lost/minimal weight loss. Not to mention I just feel so much better! :bigsmile:0

Thanks- heres some of my favorites:
5 lbs heavier in after pic, but tighter and leaner
Not same girl, but cute example
Same weight, after was when she started lifting heavy
Different girls but both size 4
Same girl, before and after lifting heavy weights, she lost 5 lbs
Stacy, read her story here: She is 14 lbs heavier in after
http://nerdfitness.com/blog/2011/07/21/meet-staci-your-new-powerlifting-super-hero/
10 lbs heavier in after
10 lbs heavier in after
Different girl, but both size 2
5 pounds difference - big body change
Fat vs Muscle

I love both too, but lifting makes me feel amazin.0 -
I love biking outside in the summer because I get much needed mental clarity from thinking about stuff and breaking it down. But I love lifting days with a lot more passion because in those 60 to 80 minutes, I am building personal power.
Awesome thread. Thank you, OP.0 -
