Why do I weigh less in the morning?

My teen daughter says it is because I snore so much that it burns off a bunch of calories, but seriously, how can I go to bed at 198.6 and wake up at 197.2?
(P.S. My weight keeps fluctuating, and mt low is 195. I just cannot wait to see an all new low of 194.)

I think it's 2 things... the longest period of time since you ate last will be when you wake up and secondly, your body used up the extra water and you likely emptied your bladder upon waking up. (or during the night!)
I fluctuate a few lbs during the day but always heavier as the day goes on.0 -
