Lately I've been getting sick of eating healthy cereal and eggs.
I recently discovered protein pancakes and low fat smoothies to make breakfast better.
Any other creative suggestions? Thanks!

I make steel cut oats in the crock pot. I make a few days worth with different flavors. Sometimes it is apple and cinnemon, sometimes banana/nuts, any kind of fruit. This week it is Bananas and cocoa. Very good.

I've been on an oatmeal kick.
    1/4 c plain oatmeal
    1 scoop vanilla protein powder
    1/2 ounce walnuts
    cinnamon to taste
    It's super yummy
  • I'm not sure how strict you are on certain foods, but I personally love the nutri-grain blueberry eggo waffles! you can just pop them in the toaster and have a quick breakfast :) i usually have lite or sugar free syrup with them. they are SO yummy with the fruit and low in fat :)

I also love eating yoplait light yogurt with a fruit bar for breakfast. I'm in college, and I used to eat that EVERY morning in between classes lol. yoplait light has so many different flavores, but if you are really strict on sugar you may not like it because it is a little up there!

hot oatmeal is really good too, and fiber one has a lot of healthy snacks you can eat with other breakfast foods. I love their chocolate chip cookie brownies :) only 90 calories and full of good fiber!

Breakfast is still one of the hardest meals for me. For many many years I didn't eat breakfast. I would get gaggy in the morning if I tried to eat before I left for work at 6:30 AM. I learned that I could eat my breakfast in "shifts" a banana and a glass of water berfore I left and then whatever else I was having when I got to work.

I too had a hard time figuring out breakfast foods because would get sick of cereal or eggs. I do not like oatmeal, wish I did tho. My doctor told me not to limit myself in only having "breakfast" foods in the morning. Which helps. As long as I was eating, he said it doesn't much matter if it's left over dinner, a sandwich...whatever. Just make sure I eat!

So for me, I will switch it up. I'll grad a container of leftover, cereal, make a sandwich. The one thing that will never change is I have to eat my fruit before I leave.

Suzzann666, that sounds yummy. I really wish I liked oat meal. I just recently tried a crockpot oatmeal. But, I just can't choke it down.

I eat egg beaters every morning (they have a new Florentine kind) yummy.

I usually eat a whole wheat English muffin with lite butter (and honey if I want something sweet).

My boyfriend eats waffles every morning (whole wheat/grain from Eggo's), he uses light butter and dusts them with cinnamon and sugar. If I eat them, I use lite butter and again HONEY!

A half tablespoon of honey can go a long way!

My breakfasts are usually between 160-250 calories (with my coffee and milk)!
  • Oatmeal with splenda, skim milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg. FREAKING DELICIOUS.
