really wanna start running!

I would love to be a runner! It's amazing exercise, and I've always wanted to be able to do it. I do so many workouts during the day, including things like insanity and p90x, but running is that one thing I've never been able to do! I can barely make it up my street.. it's so sad haha anyone here run, and wanna give me some tips? It'd be really appreciated(:

    I've never been runner either....but am currently trying to become one using the "couch to 5 K" program. You can google it. You go from being a couch potato to being able to run a 5 K in 9 weeks. I actually skipped the 1st 2 weeks since like you I've been a regular exerciser with other things. I am on week 5....and it's kicking my booty....but I haven't had to stop yet!...Check it out and good luck to you!:tongue:

    C25k is good tool. If you want to be less rigid, just go as far as you can at a comfy pace mark that (time s better than distance) then do better in a couple of days or week. little improvements are a must.

    i totally recommend couch to 5k. i did the 12 week program on their website (http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml) because i thought it was a little easier for me. i did it spring 2011 and now i can run 3 miles whenever i want. it's awesome!
