I need some tips.

So I'm going on a holiday next month to beautiful Mauritius with about 20 other people. We've booked out an apartment complex on the beach and that picture in my ticker will be our backyard for 3 and half weeks! I'm so excited and have been looking forward to it for a long time. However, I know that I am not going to enjoy my time there if I dont even want to walk out of the bedroom. I know I'll be miserable unless I'm confident enough on the beach.

I really dont have much time left and I vowed, that after not doing any exercise for a very long time, I need to make daily trips to the gym. I know I wont reach my GW in just over a month, but I just wanted to know if anyone has any tips on how I can shed the weight even just a tiny bit faster..

Any help would be really appreciated!

    ha ha. We're all just jealous of your vacation.


    I don't have an answer that is healthy....but just go and have fun regardless of how much you lose. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, right? I know..but you want to lose moar weight.

    Don't go for weight, because you can't make yourself that thin that fast and be well (think 5 pounds).

    But you can look awesome by firming up your abs and arms. A trainer can help. But if you don't have money, sit-ups, arm twists, nice twists, and leg lifts really will make you look sharp.

    Then get a good haircut, a bathing suit you like, and a fantastic coverup and hat. Good for the skin and you'll look fantastic.

    definitely try something like this. Just make sure you really push yourself to your limits to see good results.

    Yep, tone up. Best you can do it that period of time and still be healthy enough to enjoy the vacation.

    And drink lemon water, supposed to help with bloating. Just make sure you drink lots of water with any other change. Cutting certain things out like most sugars will help immensely as well. And I definitely agree with the Jillian Michaels dvds! They are awesome! And the 30 day shred is only 27 min long!

    I was gonna say that! I'm in the middle of it now, you'll get some overall toning in 3.5 weeks, supplement it with half hour of cardio a couple times a week, clean up your diet and you're look good in 3.5 weeks!
  • Fat Smash Diet with Dr. Ian Smith, He's from the reality show Celebrity Fit Club. The book comes in a paper back version as well. I know a few that tried it as a starter to their weight loss plan and they lost 6-10 lbs in 10 days. Have a great trip & enjoy:)

    Thanks so much everyone :) I've bought the 30DS DVD and hopefully will get it on Friday or Monday. I might start the program on youtube though...

    I'm going to make a drastic change in my eating habits (changes that my body can handle) and then hopefully I'll see some results.

    I'll be taking my before pics tonight..

    Good luck with the fast weight loss but please don't be too hard on yourself. Just because you won't be at your goal weight does not mean you can't have the time of your life. We are all a work in progress and have things that we are working on. - Enjoy the journey.

    As someone before said, don't forget to pack an awesome pair of swimmers (ones that have the extra tummy support) and a couple of good throwovers for on top.

    Painting your nails always looks fab on holiday

    It looks like a fantastic place for long walks along the beach to burn off some extra calories.

    Not being able to lose the weight isnt the only thing thats going to keep me from having a good time, theres a few other things as well...

    But I will definitely get searching for a good swimming costume!
    And thanks for giving me the idea, I'll get my Nails done before i go! :D

    Radical change as in eating clean - you may get awesome, healthy results.

    Radical change as in drop too many calories or some other weirdness - don't make yourself sick.
