Just ten days and I feel the weight

For the past ten days my work schedule has been stressful and I haven't been able to get to the gym except the weekend. Now is day 10 of the "non-gym period" and I'm starting to feel back fat!! I never ate above 2000 calories on any day, and a 2-3 days I ate 1300-1400. I lost 10 pounds so far and I don't want to sabotage the loss, my weight is still almost the same but how can this happen?

I'm not going to be much help lol. But I had the same thing happen. I finally got back on track yesterday and started Insanity after 2 weeks of barely tracking and not exercising. I felt the same way. After just 2 days of getting back into though, I'm feeling much better. Are you still drinking plenty of water? I had let my water intake slip and I think that had something to do with it. Now I just keep thinking at what a better position I'd be in if I had not slacked off as much.

I go to the gym/run BECAUSE my work is very stressful :) There are days when at the end I feel drained and want to crawl into a hole but I make myself go, I start my warm-up, then I run as much as I can (or have planned), then some push-ups, weights and ta-daaa - I don't care anymore. The veil of stress lifting from my brain.
Stress not only makes you lose less because of cortisone release, but it might cause poorer choices with food and make you less active. Go back to the gym! Go back tomorrow, no excuses! Prepare your gym bag RIGHT now and then go if only for 30 minutes and a hot shower :)
PS - when I run outside I fight easier against the "work brain drain" - I find I can actually run as much as I had planned instead of stopping short of my goal like I do at the gym when not feeling well.

Hey! It's not because of the stress I'm not making it to the gym, it's because I'm not finding time. It may sound like an excuse, yeah, but besides the 9-10 hours I spend at work, I have a 5 hour commute, so that leaves me with not much. Anyway I'm not starting tomorrow....I'm starting today. I'm going back to the gym today and I'm determined to nail it.

You don't need a gym to exercise. With your schedule you probably won't go often enough to make it worth the cost. There are lots of ways to exercise at home with out a lot of fancy equipment. That probably would never get used anyway. Do you watch TV? I walk in place all the time I watch. It's free and empty time anyway. There are lots of easy ways. Exercise bands can be used anywhere for almost any purpose. Where there's a will........ : )
