So what's the big deal about 50 Shades of Grey!! Its a great book I am thoroughly enjoying all the yummy naughty fun. Isn't this normal behavior? If its not it should be..lol. I live this life everyday..

Let the discussion begin. Come forward both shy and naughty and the ones that lie ;)

I agree! I enjoyed it but expected a lot more, I think she focused more on their connection then getting to kinky

I agree in that..I wanted more kinky naughty fun. Screw connection would have been much hotter the other way. I think she missed the point, and her opportunity ;)

I love how open and honest you are. Many of us who read and loved the books and are now having great "times" with our men because of it are thinking the same. :blushing: I love my guy who tells me I'm sexy all the time even though I don't feel it at 275 pounds. He is thinner than I am. Because of these books, my eyes have been opened to the many great experiences I am missing out on because of my weight. I know, I know, I should think I'm sexy, but I don't. Not when I have to recycle the same old "moves". I'm only 34 with arthritic knees and a herniated disc in my spine. I'm not gonna let this stop me. These books have actually given me incentive to lose weight. They have literally lit my fire. Take care all!

I hated how Anastasia was practically anorexic. I could have done without that. I guess it was used to highlight Grey's issues with food, but for me, it wasn't necessary. I just wanted I yell "Eat B$&@?!"

Actually, as someone with a bit of experience and knowledge of the lifestyle (I emphasize a bit - I don't claim to be any sort of expert), my personal opinion is that she didn't miss the point. That to some people, the connection IS the point. That and the way that type of connection enhances and magnifies the resultant encounters. *shrugs* My 2 cents, and you get what you paid for.

Women get their pornography in book form, and tell everyone about it.
Men get their pornography on the internet, and hide it.

This. Almost all the fanfiction I have ever read completely blows this book out of the water. I didn't even have to pay $10!

Lol..I see your point, but Ummm my thinking is yeah your there because you have some connection, but the cuddle and sleep together thing isn't a necessary part of that connection. The trust you have you can have without the cuddle sweet make love kind of thing. Not completely wrong or wrong at all for her to want that, especially in her position but I less of that in my opinion and preference.

None taken...I normally do not read these kinds of books, or make fuzz about them. Im just interested in the thinking behind what everyone thinks is a big deal. Its not we all have turn on and desires, and fantasies. Men do the same just perhaps not in books. I think sometimes we are easily more able to express those thoughts and desires through characters we read about.
