The first 15 came off somewhat easily but it is getting a lot harder now! Staying motivated and avoiding temptations have been hard lately! Hopefully someone has some things that have helped them get over their slump.

The last 30 is still a fair amount and what was working for the first 30 should theoretically still work. But it's all relative, so I can see where for some it would start to be an issue.

Keep in mind that the initial weight loss is easy and you can make incredibly progress while playing it fast and loose. I lost my first 10 pounds by switching from large size value meals at McDs to the regular size value meals. I progressed after that by dropping the fries. But eventually, when my goals shift again, I'm going to have to make actual sacrifices.

If what you've been doing has stopped working, it's time to take a close look at what you're doing. Perhaps you're not actually in a deficit anymore. If you haven't been weighing and measuring your portions, it might be a good time to start. You'd be amazed at how different the amounts we eat are from what we think we're eating. If exercise has been a part of your weight loss routine, then you probably need to up the intensity. Either faster and longer on the cardio or heavier and with less rest on the lifting.

Either way, take a close look at everything, because to tighten up that last bit flab you've got to tighten up the routine.

I have 25 pounds to lose - well I've lost 4 1/2 of it in a month. I am aiming aat about 3/4 lb to 1 lb a week an it is not easy. Because I don't have a large amount to lose I lose slower than those with a lot to lose. I am trying to eat at least 1300 a week or more and I eat my exercise calories back. I am just being patient because I know there will bee a big change even if the number is small.

I'm in that last 10 pound range and have been upping my calories to slow things down - I struggle with that because seeing the change on the scale was rewarding but I want to find my balance point and be comfortable with eating a normal amount of food. You get so used to being hungry all the time, now that I do have calories to put towards treats I get paranoid if I eat something.
