Im interested in some feedback....my story is 6 years ago I weighed 380 pounds...I have eaten clean and exercised 4-5 times a week for the last 4 years....eating 1800 cals and zigzagging, not eating any exercise calories back and lost the weight. A year ago I got to my current weight but stalled with my losses and only started losing again when i was eating 1200-1500 calories. I did lose 20 more pounds but did seem to start a binge cycle and have since put on that 20 pounds. I had a DEXA in April, they told me my ideal weight is 20 pounds below were i am now and have a body fat percentage of 26.7%. My lean mass is quite high. At the time i weighed 87 kilos and 64.9kilos of this was lean mass. They believe i have at least 10 pounds of excess skin. So...I really still would like to lose this last 20 pounds, altho a lot of people (friends, family etc) think I am fine where I am. I tried EM2WL and was eatiing 2363 and maintained at that calorie range, when I cut back to 1800-2000 I still seemed to maintain. Whilst I am eating 1500 cals at the moment...I am not really satisfied hunger wise. I am not currently eating my exercise calories and know if I do the losses would stop. So i guess I would love to know (especially anyone who has lost such a big amount of weight taking into account i will never truly be happy as i will always have excess skin - and i am NOT going to have skin surgery) I guess Id love opinions would you still struggle thru and try to get to that point? I am not so focused on my scales as much as i want to look as toned as possible taking into account the skin issues. I would like to drop down maybe one size all over. I dont want to kill myself doing this but I also want to be realistic and be somewhere were I can maintain. Also....I roughly burn 4000+ calories a week

Thanks in advance :)

You wrote this: "i will never truly be happy as i will always have excess skin".

I suggest you stay on maintenance for the moment, and focus on developing areas of your life that can provide true happiness and joy despite the fact you have some extra bits of skin. The fact is, that is to say the FACT is, what makes people beautiful is what they do and how they treat others, not how they look. Once that truth is firmly a part of your life, then start focussing on that final 20. You have done a fantastic job losing weight so far, so congratulations. :-).
