Hi all,
So i have lost a around 24 pounds (was more but had a little gain..sob)....and have around 12 pounds left to lose now. I WAS cutting carbs after morning snack and eating lots of protein and veg after then and losing ok. But i am on holiday in 6 weeks and have since had a massive panic and just overanalysing everything i eat.
Should i be eating as clean as possible to shift the last bit of weight? for example this is what i HAVE been following:
breakfast: all bran/bran flakes with skimmed milk
snack: optimum nutrition whey protein bar
lunch: big salad with chicken/tuna and 70% fat free salad cream
snack: 0% fat free greek yog (sometimes with teaspoon no added sugar peanut butter added)
dinner: meat/fish and green veg
I am now worried that is too high in carbs and processed food? i.e. the chicken i add to my salad is shop brought (like the packets of meat u can buy in m&s)
Would the below work better?
breakfast: 50g plain porridge oats with cinammon added OR scrambled egg (no bread)
snack: Protein shake, apple & handful of almonds
lunch: turkey breast with green veg...no dressing or maybe a bit of olive oil with lemon
snack: more protein (e.g. chicken)
dinner: fish/meat with green veg
What do you think would get me the results i need?! im also exercising too.
thankyou! xxx

I see nothing wrong with what you're eating atm tbh.0

I would personally go with meal option 2 because it does eliminate more of the processed foods, but I would suggest adding even more veggies. I'm not sure what your calorie goal is, but I know I would need more food that what you have below. There's not really anything too bad about what you have been eating, but if you're not preparing most of the foods you can't really be sure what is added to them. So if you want to stick to what you've been doing, try preparing your meats yourself and myabe find a different salad dressing.0

You already are eating clean, babe. If eating cleaner would make you feel better about yourself, feel free to do so, but you're not doing anything wrong with your current diet. At this point, for you, it's all about what makes you feel good. If you're still worried, maybe try eating a mix of the two diets?0
