Anyone tried these?
Whats your experience?
...
Nootropics supposedly are great for increasing IQ (paired with dual-and-back free brain game app), mental ability, and sustaining long-term brain health.
I'm currently experiementing with oxiracetam, and trying aniracetam in the near future. Oxiracetam IMO gives me a greater capacity of information in the current moment, also more ability to focus! I'm lovin it so far
My stack:
1st dose: Ginko biloba 60 mg, vinpocetine 5 mg, oxiracetam 800mg
2nd dose: Ginko biloba 60 mg, vinpocetine 5mg, oxiracetam 500mg

Joe Rogan talks about them on his podcast all the time. He loves them. I'm intrigued by it. Here's his website:

I've done a lot of reading on them. I believe piracetam is the most researched. Has some interesting effects on people suffering from brain damage. I believe that the focus/learning component of them has to be done on a self-experimenting level. Keep us updated with your experience.0

The racetams has some great research behind them supporting their benefits. Personally I have only taken piracetam but have heard good things about oxiracetam and aniracetam. One thing I noticed when I take piracetam is I get some pretty bad headaches. I found that the headaches can be combated by adding Alpha GPC which is a form of choline to your stack. If you get headaches while on oxiracetam or aniracetam I would suggest adding it. It will also help with effectiveness of other supps since it increases the absorption through the blood brain barrier.
Since sourcing all the components for a good nootropic stack can be a pain and a bit pricey our company came out with a supplement that contains a variety of effective nootropics including the vinpocetine that you had in your stack. It doesn't contain any of the racetams because of FDA restriction but has been getting great feedback from our customers. You can check out BrainStack on our website at MavenLabs.com . If you have questions shoot me a PM. Also if you would like to try it let me know and I will get you a discount code.
Other Great Resources:
For general information on pretty much ever nootropic out there I found that ThinkingInANutshell.com goes into great detail about nootropics. Also there is some great information on Reddit concerning nootropics. They have a great user base with tons information on stacks and personal experiences with nootropics.

I used to take piracetam and loved it. It definitely helped me concentrate on my studeies and I had no side effects. I only stopped taking it b/c it was getting too expensive for me. I take ginkgo biloba now (120 daily but thinking about taking twice daily). It also helps but piracetam was MUCH better. No side effects swith ginkgo either.
Edited to add: I've only found it helpful for as long as I'm taking it. It's not something that builds in your system. Just helps you concentrate better at the time.0
