Hello, I am looking to begin the Atkins Induction Phase tomorrow and was wondering what has your experiences been like on th program particuarly in the first three weeks! I am going on a vacation in three weeks and would love to rev up my weight loss. I am a roller skater and plan to skate 2x a week as well as attend kickboxing class 3x per week~ Any advice on foods, exercise, or the program in general will be greatly appreciated~
What foods did you eat?
What exercises did you do in order to succeed in the induction phase?
Thanks in advance~

My induction experience was that I dropped a few lbs of water very quickly.
Foods - bacon & egg for breakfast, cheese / ham / beef / mackerel / etc with low GI green vegetables. No Milk, plenty of salt.
No specific exercise. I walked about a bit and had a bike ride now and then.0 -
in induction right now. second week into it. although i cheated a bit over the weekend, it didn't hold me back too much.
breakfast: eggs and bacon
lunch: chicken with some veggies (usually green veggies); if i get fast food, i get a grilled chicken sandwich without the bun and eat only the chicken, lettuce and tomato and you can even afford to put mayo on there. i just had kfc today with grilled chicken and green beans.
dinner: sashimi; meat and veggie meal.
not exercisinghowever that does need to change.

I'm on Day 3. I've done this before and I generally lose 6-8 pounds the first two weeks. This is a typical day:
Breakfast: 2 eggs scrambled with a tsp of heavy cream, coffee w/cream
Lunch: grilled chicken ceasar salad with full fat dressing and a tablespoon of shredded parm
Dinner: lettuce wraps with tex-mex spiced ground chicken, cheese, taco sauce
Snack: Turkey/Swiss roll-ups
Snack: handful of nuts
Drinks: water, diet soda, peppermint tea, coffee
My exercise is the usual: Boot camp monday and friday; spin class tuesday, wednesday, and thursday.
I have a wedding to go to in three weeks and my dress won't zip. I was 7 pounds lighter the last time I wore it, so this should do the trick. I really do not want to buy another dress I wear once a year.0
