Bigger breasted triathletes

I am interested in doing a triathlon as I run and cycle (haven't added swimming yet, I need to work on that bit), and am wondering what you wear on top. All the triathlon suits I have found come with support bras, but I am a 28F, so am fairly sure they will all be way too big around my back and not nearly supportive enough in the bust for me.

Can you just wear a normal running bra for a triathlon?

BUMP - you know, in case this is actually a fitness site and not just a food obsessed dating site.

Yes, you can wear a regular sports bra. I do, because, like you said, the ones that come with the tri suits are too big and not supportive enough.

Underwired or not? Do they get dry by the end of the cycle? Do you wear a one piece? All the advice I can find online seems to be directed at men, and a bit rubbish for anyone female who's bigger than about a B cup with a broad back.

I don't use an underwire one. I like a speedo sports bra and I always get them a size smaller than I wear in my normal bras. Yes, one piece, I'd hate to have to take time to adjust anything. My suit and bra are still damp when I'm done but it's not bad.

I wear an underwire sports bra for my tris. Also I like men's tri shirts better than women's because I find the seams for the built in bras a little annoying and the men' shirts seem to fit broader shoulders and backs better.

I have a really narrow back so probably won't have that problem.

Do tri suits tend to fit big or small? Can I buy one online, or am I better off going to a shop and trying them on?

In my experience, tri suits run 1 size smaller than usual.
