Jillian Michaels No More Troubled Zones??

Just wondering. I have lost all the weight I need to lose 12/26/11:182 down to 150 today :) .. Yayyy!! I am now doing Jillian Michaels No More Troubled Zones just to tone up some saggy skin. I do not know how to log it here MFP. So how many calories do you think one would burn with DVD?? Also what is the best way to maintain my weight??

  • I'm doing this one also. I log it as cardio listed as circuit training. Just started doing her videos and love them. I also have her frontside backside dvd. I alternate them. I'm still losing so I can't comment on the maintenance.

I think if you log it as circuit training it's going to overestimate the calorie burn, there really isn't any cardio going on past the warmup. If I were to log it as circuit training, I'd only eat half of those calories back. 50 minutes of circuit training burns 432 calories for me according to MFP, and there's absolutely no way it was that intense when I did it.

I agree, I do not log it as circuit training because the cardio is only in the warm-up. I log it under cardio as strength traning.

I just did No More Trouble Zones wearing a heart rate monitor for the first time. There's actually a lot of cardio in it - I went out of my "zone" a few times and I'm reasonably fit. I also burned 465 calories, which surprised me but proves that NMTZ is quite effective as a calories burner. Better than zumba for me in fact!

I just did NMTZ today wearing a heart monitor. I am 184.5lbs and the workout lasted a total of 55 minutes (I fast forwarded the surrenders) and it said I burned 565 calories. I was dripping sweat and was moving the entire time.
