If you make sure that you are cutting out the "right" 900 calories (sugars etc..) and walking at a fast enough pace to get your heart rate up.. you will probably lose more than 2 pounds a week at first. This loss will taper down as you get slimmer. I have recently found out myself about weight training and how building more muscle helps you burn more calories. So maybe add some of that in as well. good luck0

the 900 calories comes solely from soda! ( i drink about a 2 litre a day, if not more)
