Hey, big music fan, and love finding out about new bands, singles etc so said I'd try tapping into MFP and see if you could recommend

Currently I am listening to Of Monsters and Men - Little Talk, and Jake Bugg - Lightning Blot. Not sure how new they are but new to me.

Any suggestions?

I listen to Skrillex when I'm in the gym. It's so not my normal type of music but great for a workout--especially "Breakin' a Sweat".

My favorite cd right now that"s in the cd player in my car 90% of the time is Amaryllis by Shinedown...a nice mix of hard and soft songs on it

    New to me recently:

    Alt-J (∆) - An Awesome Wave
    All the Little Barry albums
Also Monsters and men, looking forward to their album later this month but hope as well as the screams, that the songs don't all sound the same (do you see what I did there?!!)

Not so new but still love
    Kasabian
    Kings of Leon

    Also listening a lot to
    Broken Bells
    Cage the Elephant
    Chase and Status
    Donavon Frankenreiter
    Fleet Foxes
    Four Tet

loads more but I need to work now ;o)

edited to spell Leon right ;o)

Not sure if they are like Train too much.....best way to do it, go to amazon, and you can preview the songs that are on the cd
