Carb Friendly Afternoon "Pick Me Up"?

I'm looking for some ideas for a low carb friendly afternoon "pick me up." I often get that 2:00 drowziness feeling and my first instinct is to go for caffine. I am on a Dr. recommended low carb diet so the full sugar soda I crave is probably not the best solution, and I can't stand the taste of diet drinks. Plus, I've noticed that soda relieves the tiredness for a little while, but it just postpones until the next crash.

How low carb do you need to be? I've recently discovered cashew cookie larabars, which have 23 carbs (all from dates, no added sugar) and 6 grams of protein. That's a higher carb count than I would usually go far (I aim for >100 carbs a day), so I don't eat them all the time, but it does hit the spot. Also, it might make a good transition from soda, as your body is probably used to a big "rush" from the sugar, which you won't get from truly low-carb options. It takes time to adjust.0

Good advice but lots of math!! lol0 -
I go for boiled egg whites and a diet Snapple. I dislike diet drinks too, but I love flavored diet Snapple!0
