Just wondering what types of setbacks people have experienced during their weight loss journeys? Has anyone had significant gains and if so, what have you done to get back on track?

Setback = being at risk of redundancy! I have put inches on in weeks!

I was doing awesome....then...IDK I just stopped. I went from watching my calories and eating clean to eating loads of crap and not logging.... I'm up 13 pounds now... I totally sucks... Finding the motivation I had before to start all over again is really hard too because seeing the scale going up makes me depressed and when I'm depressed I want to eat! Vicious cycle... :(

There are times when I lose focus, when that happens its easy to fall back in to the old normal routine. Emotional eating is a problem too.
I just try to remember why I'm doing it, what my reasons were for losing weight & getting healthier. I try to make better choices & take it one day at a time. It's not an easy journey, that's for sure!

Not quite a set back but if I don't share it, it may become one...It seems my confidence level has grown faster than what my efforts are visually showing. I've lost 13lbs, my energy level in higher, my thoughts are clearer, my skin is radiant, my attitude is cheerier but when I look in the mirror I still see fat, rolls and everything else I'm working so hard to rid. It's like I have to retrain my thoughts everyday to think positive and see the end results.

What helps me is inspirational music, watching dance videos and pictures of people whose body I wouldn't mind having.
