I was wondering if I did 2 or 3 work outs a day instead of one if I would lose weight faster. What do you guys think and how long is everyone working out everyday?

exercise doesn't dictate your weight loss. A calorie deficit does.
You are setting yourself up for failure by trying to rush it. You didn't gain the weight all at once, so take your time and lose it properly.0 -
Working out past your ability is going to be harmful, not helpful. If you're already in super shape, then go for it. But if you're not used to exercising as it is, you're setting yourself up for injuries. It's important to give your body time to adapt to what you're asking it to do. That means exercising reasonably and focusing on quality rather than quantity (better to do half the number of squats with perfect form than twice as many in a dangerous way, for example). Further, you're likely to burn out very quickly placing such a heavy and sudden burden on your body.0

also, how long do you think you'll be able to keep up those 2 or 3 a days. Looks to me like you are setting yourself for failure.0 -

Probably a good idea to listen to the guy that's lost 107# already!0 -
SImply put, no you wouldn't. You'd get more tired, you'd hurt yourself, and then you wouldn't be able to work out for a few weeks. That's not going to speed anything up.
As others have said, take it slow. Why rush it? That'll just throw your body into shock, and it won't do what you want it to.
Don't worry about losing weight quickly. Worry about getting healthy. The weight will go as fitness comes, slow and steady and lasting a lifetime.0 -
Don't try to lose too fast. You will regret it in the long run. Stick with a sensible diet and daily exercise.0

A calorie deficit is what causes you to lose weight. Exercise can aid you in achieving that calorie deficit plus it will help you to feel better during the process and look good before and when you reach your ideal weight. Why get to your ideal weight and look like a deflated baloon? You never see the Subway guy (Jared) with his shirt off.0

I usually work out for 60 min, some days 90 min. If your workout sessions are 30 min or less, then working out 2-3 times a day would be okay.0
