resizing your rings?

Hey All! This is a good problem to have!! My engagement ring & wedding ring no longer fit. They are tooo big! Should I get them resized as I go. I can still wear my wedding ring (not my engagement ring) but now just barely. I am hoping to still keep losing weight so they will hopefully keep getting bigger & bigger! So should I wait until I get to my goal or keep resizing them as I go(which could be multiple times)? What have you all done?

I think I'm going to find one of those insert things. I heard you can get one even at like Wal Mart and they fit inside your ring.

I'd wait. I took my rings off several years ago cause my fingers (just like my body) had gotten to big for them. I can now wear my engagemnet ring but not the wedding band. People keep saying go have them sized, my answer is always NO I want them to fit me again just like they used to, and I'm almost there

I would wait. You can buy inexpensive sizers at jewelry stores, departments stores, etc that just fit on the bottom of your ring and make it fit better. When you reach you're goal weight than get them resized.

I would wait, and just use the insert thing, or wear them on a chain. But please - don't just keep wearing them! My husband lost his ring out the car window because he didn't go to get it resized.

I would wait until goal. I had to take my engagement ring off over a month ago and only wear my wedding band. Funny thing is my husband hasn't even noticed!

Also, by waiting to have it resized when you reach your goal weight, you can use the new size to help keep you in check. When it starts getting a little tight, use it as a reminder to get you back on track!

I stopped wearing my wedding ring once it got too big. My husband was NOT happy!
I already had to get my ring sized bigger when I gained all my weight. The jewelry store said not to keep getting them resized because the metal will get weak the more times it is sized. Wear one of the sizers and wait until you are done!
My ring size now is smaller than it was when I first got engaged:)

wait until you reach your goal size. my rings are way too big now...so we bought a cheap band from Amazon. Once I find the time, I will get my rings sized down..but until then...i dont care about my $25 ring
