People have all sorts of excuses for not achieving goals like stress, emotional eating, accidents and lack of finances. I am proof that you overcome those obstacles. Add to that dating after being in a relationship for over 11 years and you have my journey thus far. My first milestone was being taken off blood pressure medication. One of my major motivators. Today I hit another major milestone. ONEderland. My journey actually started 2 years ago before MFP. I actually had left my spouse and managed to drop from about 265 as shown below to about 243 in August of 2011 At 243 I gave him a second chance, even moved across the country to do so. It didn’t work and ended up finalizing our divorce May 11, 2012 just a few days shortly after joining MFP. I have had a lot of stress having had to declare bankruptcy, pay for the divorce, when we separated I was had been evicted, my car reposed, and my entire paycheck had vanished. I am also having to pay 4 years of back taxes to the IRS, am currently getting my students loans out of default at 650 a month, started a new job, developed and new social network 17 hours from everyone I know and love, and was hit by a semi 5 months ago which has caused me to not be able to exercise as much as I would prefer. So compound my propensity to emotionally eat I have still accomplished a lot thanks solely to my wonderful MFP support system. I love my friends here they are the world to me. They accept me when I am cranky from pain that is caused by a newly bulging disc and the particularly bad PMS I experience that makes me want to inhale food like a Hoover Vacuum cleaner. They encourage me through their kind words and thoughts, and motivate me through their tenacity towards their own journeys’ to health and weight loss. The brighten my bleakest day with humor and positivity. They have made me want to be accountable for even my bad days calories. They have never judged me, just offered advice. I know my next goal is 180 and like this first goal it will take longer than I anticipated because of limitations placed by my doctors, however, this too, I know now I can accomplish. And yes I eat taco bell, or McDonalds Ice cream on occasion. This is a lifestyle change. It works because I do allow myself some treats. I just choose healthier options like fresco style tacos or the low fat ice cream at McDonalds. So here we go I am going to attempt to show off the weight loss. The first picture the most shocking will be from July 13, 2010. These pictures take a lot of courage to post because they show the whole ugly truth, but I am glad I have them. :blushing: Oh, I don;t mind adding friends but please please include a message as to why and how you found me.

This is the link I can't figure out the other: I sure this link works they are not in order but July 13, 2010 is the heaviest. Augusat 2011, then skips to May 2012, june 2012, july 2012, then August which is now
