Top of foot when walking

I have started training to walk a 1/2 marathon in Nov. I am up to 6 miles 3 times a week. I got fitted for correct shoes (actually bought 3 pairs so I can alternate). My problem is I am having pain on the tops of both my feet. It is not centered on the top but more to the inside/side/top of each foot. It does not hurt to touch or push on (like a bruise would), but it hurts when I flex my foot/anklle. Does anybody know what this could be and/or have any advice for me? Thanks!

I had this same problem from playing racquetball and it was because my sneakers had too much flex in the arch. When I would land the sneaker would go flat and so would my foot. The "correct" shoe may not be correct for you. Go back to the store and ask them what they think.
