I heard that if you eat potato products, it keeps your craving for sweets down.
I keep a bowl of mashed potatoes on hand, and I grab a few bites of it whenever I feel the need to eat a huge slice of cake, then I drink a glass of water, and go pop in a movie or do some hooping.
Or both.0 -
that sounds like a good idea... I may start doing that! thanks for the tip0

fruit is also a great sub for sweets. a cup of black cherries for 74 calories? yes please.0

Agree on the fruit. I also like cherries & other berries because of the finger food angle, seems to slow me down if its a liitle nibble I can play with.0

I stop having sweets in the house,my motto don't have none can't eat none, because I'm to busy (I like busy instead of lazy) to peel fruit I buy the fresh fruit cups.0

I keep some of the keebler or oreo 100 calorie packs around. i can eat just 1 pack and usually be satisfied but if I have a whole package of cookies I eat way too many!0
