so i wasn't going to change my eating habits..

but i decided for quicker results, i WOULD start eating breakfast, and... i like cereal. my FAVORITE is banana nut crunch, but it has 250 cals per one cup... which i'll eat ATLEAST 2 cups..

i like granola, A LOT.

i was wondering what kind of cereals are good AND healthy something with a similar ttaste & texture of banana nut crunch?

also, i despise cinnamon, so nothing with cinnamon..

so, i will be KIND of changing my eating habits.. i'll eat cereal for breakfast/lunch but i'll eat a whatever dinner.. ;/

kinda like a special k kinda thing but special k is WAY too bland.

Hi! Maybe try the Great Grains banana nut cereal...the calories aren't much lower, but the whole grains require plenty of chewing! I love the raisin, date, & pecan flavor, but after one bowl I really don't care to chew anything else...plus it's pretty filling. Good luck!

Kashi has some really great cereals with less calories. My favorite is Kashi Go Lean Crunch.

Banana Nut Cheerios, 100 cal per 3/4cup serving.
Honey Bunches of Oats Fruit Blends, Banana-Blueberry, 120 cal per 3/4cup serving.

Or like Erin said: Mix some fresh fruit into cereal. Fills up the bowl for less calories and some nutrition.
My favorites: banana slices, diced strawberries, peaches, nectarines, or berries like raspberries or blueberries.

Well since you dispise cinnamon I cant give you my favorite. My fall back is multi grain cheerios but it doesnt have the best fiber.

For anyone who loves cinnamon, try Cinnamon harvest. I think its by Kashi. The autum harvest is pretty good too

I love Kashi and I will usually do half and half with the regular go lean and the go lean honey almond crunch. They are both yummy!

Oatmeal? Go for the regular kind (not "instant" or "quick"). It only takes a couple of minutes and tastes so much better. Plus it's not slimy and has a better fiber profile.

But I'm just wondering: If you're not going to change your eating habits (much), how do you plan to lose weight?
  • thanks for the heads up on Kashi Cinamon Harvest. I love Cinamon and am always looking for new ideas to ingest it.
