back again- needing support

Been here before started ok then just lost it , back again a week or so ago , after trying slimming world with limited success and still desperate to lose some weight! have a great holiday in 7 weeks and am 50 in 10 and so promised myself wouldn't be fat and fifty!! realistically would like to lose at least a stone by holiday and maintain till birthday , ideally 2 but hey ho lest just try and be consistent. Maybe some weight loss buddies might help ?? any advice greatly appreciated, difficult to exercise at present as just had foot surgery on both feet , so still recovering.

    You don't have much to lose, so it may take a little longer. Your body is for life though, not just for holidays and birthdays, right?

    thanks , wish that was the case but the above is just a mini target , putting 60lbs seemed too off putting!!

    Hi, I think picking a realistic amount is good. Just taking it a step at a time. I am fairly new to MFP you could add me.

    thanks for the add, have now decided maybe to try the bigger picture on my ticker but keep smaller targets in mind for myself , aimiing for 13 lbs off by 17th sept as going on holiday then , so fingers crossed.

    My suggestion would be to make sure you weigh and log everything you put in your mouth. It's 90% diet and 10% exercise! You can do it!! Good Luck and Happy Early Birthday!
