    My coworkers are picking on me because I have a pet boa (Red Tailed Boa) but I get sqeamish about a spider.
    They are VERY different, snakes are pretty and colorful, and a very low maintenance pet. Spiders are just yuck!

    I have 8 snakes, one of which is 9 foot long and 21lbs......but I'm terrified of even the smallest spider!
