It is time for me to get back at it and I did well with my challenges in the past so if it worked before, it will work again, right?!! So starting today, August 9th, I'm giving myself until October 19th to walk 100 miles. You can walk or run if you'd rather then log your miles here in the forum.

Fun! I am totally down for this! I might bike, too, but in that case I will increase my miles. Thanks for letting me know I will figure out a goal and post it here!0

I wish i had seen this earlier. 5 weeks ago i decided to start walking, in the beginning i walked 2.5 miles for the first 3 days and then upped it to 4 miles 5 days a week. I now enjoy it so much that i have trouble settling in the eve if i haven't had my walk. I can walk about 4.5 - 5 miles and on weekends i do 6-7 miles easy.I reckon i have done about 85 miles to date. Plus I have lost 12lbs in the last 2 weeks alone.0

I track miles per shoe, and my training partner and I just passed 500 miles (but it's been a few months). Round numbers may be arbitrary, but man are they ever satisfying.0 -
