Hi, I downloaded this app on phone awhile ago but never opened it. This is my first time. So I am 31, 215, 5'10 and completely over with the whole being over weight thing. I am so done with it. So here I am. But this is my dilemma. I have never felt this way before but i actually hate food right now. I don't know maybe b/c food played such a huge role in my comping mechanism that I want nothing to do with it. I have to literally force myself to eat something. This has never happend to me. Has anyone else ever gotten to this point? I'm hungry but nothing, and I mean nothing looks appealing. I take a bite and I am like" NO!! i don't want this". So I don't know, I really want to lose weight but now I'm afraid my disgust of food is only going to hinder that, b/c I know not eating will only slow my metabolism, and i can not afford that happen. Any suggestions? Oh in case your wondering no I'm not prego or anything like that. I checked

Hey, I'm new too! I've occasionally felt disgusted with food, but it hasn't stopped me from gaining weight at a steady clip for too long. Don't over-think it. Generally it's been during a really stressful time in my life, so avoid letting it stress you out! I usually go for a couple glasses of skim milk and sometimes tuna, and before a week is done I've lost 5 pounds and am back to drooling for cheesecake and chocolate torte! I figure my body generally knows what it needs, and I've tried to use those sorts of feelings as a springboard for more weight loss. btw... have you started exercising lots? Exercise can really lower your appetite sometimes in a good way, and yet give you the endorphins to make you feel better about other aspects of your life...0
