Maybe my routine is so boring that I just want to quit but I don't want to run anymore. Any suggestions? what do you do when you feel like not wanting to do your routine anymore?

I change it! I haven't exactly gotten bored with P90x, yet but before I started that which was a few days after I started trying to lose weight, I actually went on Tumblr and looked for workouts that people would post. You can also go on Youtube and look for workouts as there are PLENTY of them. (:0

That's easy.....change it! Running is hardly the only form of exercise out there -
walking
hiking
biking
swimming
lift weights
calisthenics
go to a gym - tread, elliptical, stairclimber, classes
free on line workouts - body rock tv seems to be really popular although you can fine workouts on youtube as well
dance dance dance - bellydance, poledance
exercises DVD's
yoga0 -

Change it. Running is boring. There's about 40 billion other exercises out there.0

You can learn to do a legit jumpstyle from Youtube videos!0

If you can, try to sign yourself up for something that involves other people and where they will notice if you are gone. Maybe some sort of class - yoga, martial arts, a boot camp, that sort of thing. There is usually a professional there who will have some experience mixing things up for people. You might even find something you really enjoy doing. Also, you will feel shamed if you skip out.0

do you belong to a gym?
when I got a little bored of running, I tried cycle class and I love it! you get to have someone else tell you what to do! Plus, it really increased my lung capacity and endurance for aerobic activity...which when I went back to running, I could run a heck of a lot longer and not get out of breath tired.
I have to exert so much more cycling than running - running easy, cycling hard. try it!0 -
I know how your feeling. I have about 6 workout dvds at home including insanity n julians 30 shed which has multiple videos plus I also do yoga, running around the field or walking up the hill. I also have some workouts that are just a list of exercises and how many reps you should do plus I put some youtube videos in my play list to do... i love exercise tv videos. Also when school is in session I go to the gym or use the pool completely free no membership necessary plus my university has free aerobics, yoga and tae won do (s/p) classes for its students.
I'm saying all this to show you that you have a lot of things to choose from. don't limit yourself, keep a wide variety so you wont get bored.
I am a person who gets bored very easily so I do whatever workout that fits my mood for that day....0 -
take up something else
cycling, yoga or even karate?0 -
So don't run. There's a million other active things you can do to stay fit. Unless you have a goal of running a marathon, or you have a job that requires you to be able to run very fast/very far, running is self-inflicted torture. Change it up. Go to a climbing gym & wall climb for an hour. Take a kickboxing class. Go salsa dancing with some friends. Do cartwheels on your front lawn. Staying healthy is hard enough without adding mind-numbing boredom to the mix.0
