Welcome to those continuing the challenge and a huge hello to you newbies!

Do you have a hard time drinking your 8 glasses of water each day or even drinking 3 glasses? I do. That's why I've created a "drink more water" challenge. If you're interested, log in here your water amount daily.

Don't worry if you don't like plain water. Crystal Light, lemon and other 0-calorie flavorings are completely allowed. Anything to get you drinking more water. You can follow this little chart as a guide as to what to count as water:

Water (obvious)
Tea (up to 2 cups)
Coffee (1 cup only)
Juice (1 cup only)

If you're not used to drinking a lot of water, I would suggest starting out slow and working your way up to 8 glasses.

I need motivation, so let's motivate each other to drink more water and feel healthier!! :drinker:

Water - 9-12 cups a day everyday no matter what
    Tea - 1-2 cups a day sometimes
    Coffee -1 cup sometimes
    Juice -1 cup sometimes

Been doing this for the last 22 days and don't plan to quit :)

Although I don't record my water intake, I drink between 6 and 8 liters of water per day, everyday. I also drink 1 liter of coffee most days. I do not drink pop except for Ginger Ale when I am having a flareup of diverticular disease and/or IBS. I drink tea in the evenings during the winter. Lemon and lime slices are awesome in water particularly during workouts!

Have slipped back in to not drinking enough water in the last week and not stopping in here to report. I will be better at both this week.
  • I believe people should only drink as much as their body needs. If you exercise you should drink a bit more (but not just plain water as this will just wash out sodium out of your body), but average person doesn't really need as much water as we are told. For me 4 cups a day is about right (not including coffee), plus what I get from food. If it's hot I will drink more, but I never force myself to drinking 8 cups just because someone decided that I should...
  • I can just about manage to drink one glass of water but cups of Tea i'll drink by the bucket load
i know i'll have to change but have never liked to taste of water unless it is lager or Beer something
i have not touched for 13 days now.
