Possible? Maybe. Healthy? NOT EVEN A LITTLE. Best is about a pound a week ( about 1 kilo every two weeks), most recommend would be twice that. Unless you're severely overweight (i.e. morbidly obese), then you can get away with losing more.
  • That's quite a bit of weight in that time frame. However, it is all relative to your current weight and how much extra you have. I lost 20 pounds in a month because I had extra to lose. If you don't, it may be possible, but not very healthy for you.

That definitely seems too fast. If you go on a crash diet or begin a massive exercise plan, the change could hurt your body and probably won't last.

What about aiming to be fitter and stronger by the time you go on holiday instead? Check out the Success Stories forum for PS90x or Ripped in 30 before-and-after photos. There are some amazing changes visible!

22 lbs and approximately 12 or so weeks? I don't see any problems. Even Weight Watchers says 2 lbs a week is fine. And they don't want you to lose too fast because then you won't pay them anymore. :-)

I think it is perfectly fine. Keep your protein up so you are losing fat and muscle. You don't want to lose quickly and have it be your lean muscle and not the fat you want to get rid of.
