Yeah, what are you eating?
What does your training week look like?
Do you carry water and a small snack for your long run?
I'm training for my 4th half. You can friend me0 -
Today was 7 miles. Had a protein bar before 1 litre of water during/after the run and a protein shake at home since im not hungry0

You need more carbs before running esp that distance...carbs fuel the body, protein repairs muscle. I used to make that mistake but I would feel weak during the run so had to include more carbs pre run! It's worth a try0

Do you drink lots of water (like extra) the day before? Is it terribly hot/humid where you live?
Your tummy might not like the protein bar. I would try something else. I've been successful with a small bowl of oatmeal, pb and j sandwich, or pb and banana.0 -
Read marathon rookie. A friend led me to it when I trained for a 1/2 last year. I found that I needed something at 6+ miles to keep me going.0

Ive done most of my running on the treadmill cuz its been so hot and humid here. Today still humid but like 60 degress and over cast so ran outside0

Hmmm...I get up at run at 5 am, so I don't eat or drink anything beforehand. I make sure to get about a gallon of water the day before, and I usually get up in the middle of the night and have 16 oz. As soon as I get home I do protein powder and almond milk and 2 cups of water. I never have any nausea or energy issues.0

Another good book to read is "Marathoning For Mortals" by John Bingham and Jenny Hadfield. Will give you some good information about fueling up before, during and after your runs.0

The best thing I have found to eat before a run is toast with peanut butter. Perfect blend of carbs and protein. Also bring some skittles along with you when you start to feel nauseated or faint. Worth a try!0
