Saw a Shooting Star
I saw the most awesome shooting star last night. It was really bright and it just shot right through the sky in an arc and then burst and disappeared. So long as I have lived I have never seen one so bright and shining and just like fireworks in the sky.
Have you ever seen one? Did you make a wish?

I caught one last night actually, but I forgot to wish.0

My son said he saw one the other night (Thursday) when I was driving, so I didn't get to see. I've only seen shooting stars once in my life, and I saw four in one night. It was beautiful. I think I was so awe with seeing them and with the person next to me that I forgot to make a wish, but it was a beautiful sight to behold.0

You know, they go SO fast it's hard not to just stare in awe at them, they are so beautiful!!! So its no wonder you forgot to wish!0

I always wait for the meteor showers so I can wish upon many shooting stars~maybe that's cheating! lol Anyway tonight is the annual Perseid meteor shower. I caught an AMAZING show a few years back~ never saw so many vibrant shooting stars in my life. Look for them tonight!!

It's finally getting a little dark here, after 23+ hours of daylight. I saw my first shooting star (as well as the moon). Yes, I'm a big kid and made a wish.0

So we must have seen a little glimpse of the Perseid shower then - aha that makes sense then. Hey I don't see it as cheating.
Did everyone catch the "Ring of Fire"eclipse back in May? that was awesome too0 -
I love those little catches. And heck yes I say a wish. I also give thanks with every wish.0

I saw my first shooting star years ago, when I was in the desert of Saudi Arabia. There was so little light pollution that everything in the night sky looked fantastic. I didn't make a wish, but it was still awesome. Will try to get the kids out to see if we can sight any for the Perseid shower.0
