Food Substitution

What can I substitute for bacon or sausage?

I pretty much have avoided it but I like the occasional piece with my eggs. I'd rather find a substitute than just give in as I am trying to slim down.

Turkey bacon is pretty delicious and healthier. Also Trader Joe's has absolutely amazing chicken sausages for around 100 cals per link!

Real bacon isn't that bad for you...it's not like you are eating every day right? So if this is correct...then having a few pieces occasionally will be fine as long as you fit it into your cals for the day.

Two bacon slices with an egg is a great breakfast. Its the bread, oil, butter which could impede your efforts.

Just eat the normal ones but not regularly :-)

Sausages can be as little as 60 cals each! My sausages are 84 cals each, but I did try some that were 60 cals but I didnt like them.

Bacon isnt exactly calorific either :-)
