i am a fan of peppermint oil and here is why. i know that with anything, there is a side effect to it but i have just found it to help me with my little problems of life. i would rather drink some tea with peppermint then pop a pain pill simply because i feel i am doing better for my body by doing so.

1. It has been proven to help digestion and soothe an upset stomach.
2. after eating, it triggers the brain to let it know you are full
3. can help headaches
4. opens air ways and helps breathing
5. it is good for the skin and nails

it also perks you up when you are feeling sleepy; it helps you concentrate; and- MY FAVORITE Benefit- a sniff will suppress your appetite! (i often wear some as perfume or on a diffuser pendant when I am going to a party where there is going to be To Much indulgent food!)

I get a tummy tea made of peppermint that is killer! It's really good.

The brand is called Heather's tummy tea and she sells it in HUGE bags. It's the strongest peppermint tea I've ever had. You open the bag and you can smell a very strong scent. I've tried others and none compare to it. Anyway, I just thought I'd share my love of my favorite tea with fellow peppermint lovers.

I don't know about the oil, but my parents kept a bag of small peppermint candy in the car whenever we went on a trip, especially to the mountains. It prevented car sickness. It worked with my kids and now my grandkids.
