This will actually make two servings (or one really big serving)
1 scoop of isofemme vanilla sky protein powder
2 cups of frozen strawberries
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup oikos plain greek yogurt non fat
Delicious and honestly, it's usually so thick I have to eat it with a spoon.0 -

Here are a couple of mine. My family loves these so I always have to share!
Base:
1/2 c. plain greek yogurt
1 c. unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla whey protein (optional)
1/2 t. stevia (to taste)
ice (I use crushed)
Apple/Melon:
1/2 apple
1 c. cantaloupe or honeydew
Orange:
1/2 ripe banana
1 naval orange (you can use strawberries instead for strawberry/banana)
Blueberries add well to the apple/melon.
It's fun to experiment as well
According to MFP you would burn about 900 cals making this, have a burger and fries with your shake.0 -
not a shake, but I love to mix plain greek yogurt with peanut butter and chocolate protein powder. It's called sludge.0

I'm on the go too much in the mornings mines 8oz skim fat free milk 1 scoop protein powder... shake as I walk out the door.0

I make a smoothie everyday but i try not to make them too high in calories.
half scoop whey protein
half cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
half tblspn chia seeds
half cup danon light and fit vanilla yogurt
ice and a little water to get it the right consistency
Then I switch it up with different combos of frozen fruits and usually put spinach in them.
It's a yummy way to get a lot of protein, calcium, and good carbs for not too many calories
(I'm a stay at home mom right now so if you're in a hurry you may have better luck just mixing it with almond or skim milk :drinker: )0 -
Cup of unsweetened chocolate almond milk
Wheat germ
Chocolate protein powder

I freeze fresh fruit(bananas, strawberries, blueberries etc.) and mix with nonfat plain yogurt, stevia and small amount of skim milk. then place it in a blender. The frozen fruit makes it really icey and good. My nine year old son loves them.
I do the same thing, freeze all my fruits first.
Blend:
Strawberrys
Bananas
Low cal vanilla silk milk
ICE
Scoop of low carb protien powder to make it more filling... very delish0 -
1 cup of almond milk (the kind I use is 60 cals/cup)
4-6 ice cubes
fresh strawberries (7)
add any other fruit you like (blueberries, oranges, pineapples, apples, fruit cocktail) any of these taste good with strawberries, I mix it up.0 -
I use Jillian Michaels protein powder only because I can afford it and its all natural no artifical sweeteners or flavors - very hard to find in a protein powder. My favorite shake that even my kids love is 1 scoop vanilla protein, 1/2 frozen banana, 2 cups earthbound baby spinach, 2 tbs powdered peanut butter, 1 cup unsweetened almond milk and ice cubes as needed- its so good you do not taste the spinach at all just the banana and peanut butter. YUMMY!!!!0

I use Biopure from Puritan Pride online. It is 99% lactose Free, 100 cal per scoop, less than 2 carbs per scoop and about 25 g of protein per scoop. It is a Whey Protein Isolate; and you do not want more than 25/26 g protein at a meal because the Body can only absorb 26g of Protein per 4 hours, so anymore will just be flushed. It tastes great and mixes well. I use frozen fruit like peaches, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple...along with Unsweetened almond milk, stevia and mix.
A New fav: Muscles On The Beach
Frozen Pureed Pineapple (3 Cubes),
Frozen Pureed Peaches (2 Cubes),
Frozen Small Banana (One Third),
Lite Coconut Milk (One-Two Oz)
Biopure Vanilla (1 Scoop)
Stevia/Truvia 1 Pack if you desire
BLEND in Blender...About 260 Cal, VERY Satisfying and Filling!
Sometimes I Puree certain fruit and freeze them in Ice Cube Trays (Peaches, Pineapple).0 -

I've been obsessed with smoothies this summer, here are some of my fav concoctions...
Smoothie Base:
1 banana
1/3 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/3 cup plain greek yogurt (reg or nonfat)
1 scoop whey protein (optional)
handful ice cubes
Fun Flavor Combos I've tried:
1 tbsp of dutch process cocoa (unsweetened)
1 tbsp of dutch process cocoa (unsweetened) with 1 tbsp natural peanut butter or natural almond butter
1tbsp almond butter, 1/2 tbsp local raw honey, dash of cinnamon
I'm working up the courage to throw some baby spinach in...
YUM. I want. I haven't tried almond milk yet but I really want to, it sounds absolutely delish.0
