I have just had a slice of watermelon, 53g to be exact.
Ive just put it on food diary as 1 cup, and it came up 46 cals ??
is that correct, I was expecting it to be about 1 cal ?? : $

Why don't you put it in grams? Choose the 100g serving and put 0.56 to the box. 53 grams of watermelon is around 16 calories.0

It seems like you already have a scale and that's the best investment I find it easier and more accurate to stick to grams when it comes to logging food especially with fruits and vegetables. 1 cup of chopped carrots visually makes less sense to me than 128 grams of carrots (two medium sized~). Same goes for measuring with spoons. I'm used to cups and spoons more in baking, I guess. It doesn't matter too much as long as you are in an error margin of 5-10 calories (which is true for vegetables or fruits) but estimations can be really deceiving with calorie dense foods like oils or nut butters etc.0
