Just joined - looking for Friends & Support

I found this website after reading an article in First Magazine. I have struggled with weight since having my children, my oldest just turned 12. In the last 2 months I have lost 18 pounds and have not been able to budge since. I don't know if my metabolism is off, or what I am doing wrong. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies, no soda and rarely any junk. I work out 3 -4 times a week...and I just don't know what I am doing wrong.

I also saw in here a few minutes ago about a 30 day shred. Does anyone know what that consists of??

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello and welcome to mfp! 30 day shred is a jllian michaels workout video, very popular on the threads. you can you tube it to see what its all about, but its basically 3 levels of workouts, if you have never worked out it will be tough, but you get better and better at it as time goes by.   • Thanks everyone. I think I am going to go buy the 30DS. I work out 3 - 4 times a week, but I am sure this will kick my butt. It is ok though, I need to get out of this up and down lose weight, gain weight roller coaster I have been on the last 3 weeks or so.

    Feel free to add me and Good luck with your journey. 30 Day Shred is a Jillian Michaels workout DVD! It is a circuit training workout. It consists of Cardio, Abs, and Strength training. Basically there is three levels. Beginners(level 1), Intermediate(Level 2), and Advanced(Level 3). Basically the idea is that you do level 1 for 10 days, then level 2 for the next 10 days, and finally level 3 for the last 10 days. It is a tough workout. You have to push throw the pain. I am currently on Day 2! Also just YouTube it no need to purchase it. Just save it to your computer then burn it to a disk.
