Hi there, I've eaten over my fat limit, but under my calorie limit! I'm just wondering if this will hinder my weight loss, this is the second time this has a happened. I eat fruit everyday, but today I had two packets of wotsits! This bought my fat intake up, over about 12 over my limit, I've had 1280 cals so far ad my limit for cal intake is 1430, and I really want to eat something, should I? Or should I wait until tomorrow?
I scootered for about 10 minutes, and have run up the stairs in blind panic for another 10, not a lot of excercise today I know, but yeah
Please help! I'm so worried!

Fat doesn't make you fat.
As long as you aren't always going over your fat with the bad fats you are fine.
Goals tend to be low here anyways.0 -

I go over on my fat intake quite often. I am still shedding body fat.
Dietary fat =/= body fat0 -

I think you should do a little bit more research on which fats are "bad" and meal frequency0 -
One or two days over in anything (cals, fat, carbs, ect.) Won't do anything. Check your weekly numbers and see how your doing, usually it balances out. And depending on what your eating there is such thing as good fat. Aslong as those days are coming from the right foods and not twinkys and donuts you will be fine0

If you really want to eat, do a thirty minute workout. No tapes, check youtube. Otherwise big salads that fill up up often don't raise your calorie count by much. Drink a glass of water to fill up as well and wait ten minutes.0

One day doesn't matter in the long run. Going a little over or a little under on one macro or another doesn't matter in the long run. Eating fat does not make you fat. The thing that's going to hurt you is the panicking, not the food.0

You are 18 years old and went into a blind panic because you are over on fat but still less than 1300 calories? Honey, this is not good
Relax and eat if you are hungry.0 -
What they are all saying.
It all works out in the wash - your food ratios will vary from day to day and it's rarely a crisis...just try not to eat lots of crisps every day! If you're still hungry, eat...have a salad, fruit, etc.. popcorn...0 -

Cool your jets. MFP gives you default macro values, many people adjust the macros to suit their own needs. Some people prefer high-fat diets, find them more satiating. Weight loss is based on a long-term calorie deficit; no single macro count on any single day will make a noteworthy difference. It's about longer term trends, and ultimately it's about calorie deficit.0

Thanks everyone, I feel much better now0
