Have you ever washed your Vera Bradley purse?

Okay so I bought my Vera about 2 months ago. I really think I need to wash it because it kind of stinks lol :blushing:
Now I know you can wash it but does it cause the color to fade? And how hard is it to take the cardboard out of the bottom and put it back? BTW do you throw it in the dryer afterwards?? HELP!

I have the hobo so I can just slide the cardboard in and out. VERY EASY. I turn it inside out and put it on gentle. I hang dry mine. I have noticed more wear from every day use than from washing. If anything washing it makes it look less faded. Love my Vera.

I don't know about a specific Vera B purse, but I've washed my purses that were made of material in the past. I didn't put them in the dryer though. They air dry pretty fast. I didn't have any cardboard inside. Does it come right out? I would wash on a gentle cycle though. Even handwashing it might be good. Good luck! :)

I've done this and washed my wallet too. I let them air dry.

I have washed all my Vera Bradley items from a wallet to a duffel with no problems. I have dried mine in the dryer but it may be better to hand it dry. It does very well in the washer and comes out looking brand new!

I've never had one. But they seem washer friendly?

there should be an easy way to get the cardboard out of the bottom. turn the bag inside out and see if there is an opening to slide it out.

do not dry it in the dryer. gentle wash and air dry. cold water.

I have a tote that I use for school and I've washed it. It's not hard to take the bottom out. I turn it inside out, use Whoolite on delicate. Still looks good! I did not put mine in the dryer.
