I'm stuck in a rut recently. The weight's not coming off as easily as it used to. Not in the "what the *bleep*, this weight was melting off at 10lbs a week a couple of months ago" kind of thing. I mean I've lost, at most, 3lbs this month, when I know I had the ability to do more but I've been slacking a lot, and desperately need to get back on track. I just need to figure out how.

So, not a solution but I was thinking - seeing other peoples success is a big motivator for me, especially when we have similar stats. And maybe it's just me, but I hardly ever see any people around 5'10'', but knowing me I'm probably just being blind... Anyway, has anybody got any before and afters they'd like to share? Any height really, it'd just be nice to see people who are similar. :) Thanks in advance!

Heh, would love to help ya but I'm only down a total of 15 lbs and I'm a 5'4" giant... lol... Good luck lady! Don't give up, you're doing great, and technically, you're still losing! :o)

I'm 6'0"! I've got some before-afters on my MFP blog if you want to see them. They're 6 weeks old, I should probably take new ones this week! Add me as a friend and remind me to do that tomorrow!

I know, every little helps, right? I guess I'm just in a mood with myself for not trying harder! Not anymore. :)

And 15lbs is fantastic - a whole stone, plus one!! I was thrilled when I reached that at first, so should you. :D

Oh wow, your photos are GORGEOUS! And you've done so well, you must be really proud of yourself. :)

    I'll gladly add you!

*blush* You're so sweet :) My high weight was 215, and I always got told "you carry your weight so well", but I got sick of it. Even now, down 30 pounds (not sure what the conversion for kg or stone is), I've had a lot of my online friends tell me I look "slim" and "thin", but I know I've still got a few inches of flab around my midsection, my thighs, etc. My height makes me deceptively skinny, and that's irritating on a lot of levels. I hate it when I see a 5'0" person lose 10 pounds but also drop 5 dress sizes, and I've lost 30 pounds and just barely went down 2 pant sizes!!!!

Seriously, it's like you picked those words straight out of my head! (Besides the high weight - try 35lbs HIGHER, holy cow!) But deceptive skinny, carrying weight well, we're even down the same number nearly! (36lbs) AND I have a friend who's 5'0'' and she's done the exact thing and in a shorter time than me. :explode: I'm so glad there's someone who's basically living my life, but at the same time not. :') But we will get there eventually!!!

Obviously I still have work to do, but I was proud of myself at every step in this process, especially the beginning, and you should be too.

Sorry I don't have anything more recent than this with me at work.

So true, every little bit helps! :o) And I know it's easy to get discouraged at times.... but thankfully there are places like this where there are tonnes of people going through the same phases as you. I have a very long road about 130lbs to go) and I have to keep telling myself, almost daily... not to give up! :o) And neither should you, have faith and it'll happen! :o) Yes, us shorties, lol... you can see the loss a bit easier and faster, I think b/c it's so compact.... but it's also a curse b/c you gain 10 lbs and the whole world sees it...lol.... You ladies are gorgeous and I wish you the best! :o)

You might want to check out http://www.mybodygallery.com/

It allows people to upload photos of themselves with their height and weight, and you can search for the sort of measurements you're looking for to see what other people look like.
