Hey everyone! I'm a 39 year old teacher from Michigan. I started using the app about 2 weeks ago and have already dropped a little over 11 pounds. My fiancé and I are doing this together. I still have 19 pounds to my first goal, which will have me lighter than I was when I graduated high school. Then it'll be time to set another goal. Looking for more friends to help keep me accountable. Between the calories and the exercise, I could use a little encouragement!

Congrats for losing 11lbs so far! How did you do it? I've been trying for months different ways and it's like my body just doesn't want to lose anything....I'm maintaining the same weight I don't want to. I'm going on 35 and I have a big trip in 8 weeks so if you want someone for accountability.....I'm here. Thanks!

  • Well, I'm on a 1970 calorie and I've started exercising. Up to now, I considered myself somewhat active, but seriously, who is really that active and weighs over 250 that's not disgustingly muscular? I've started jogging every day. I'm up to 2 miles,
although not all at once. I run 1/8 mile then walk 1/8 mile for 2 miles. When going out to eat, I look at the menu and put potential foods in before I order to see what will work. we've also found some awesome recipes that are low calorie yet very tasty. I've had several days that, with the jogging, I've been way under my calorie alotment. If I can do it, anyone can. It's been very helpful doom this with my fiancé. There have been times that I haven't wanted to run but she gets me out and vice versa.

    Hope this helps!
