Orlando restaurants?

Anyone know of any healthier options for eating out in Orlando? My boyfriend and I are visiting the parks this weekend and I'm sure we'll be eating out somewhere, I just want it to be healthy! I know everywhere we go will have a healthier option than another and we will do this if we have to, but if anyone knows of any restaurants mainly geared toward healthy eating, that would be great! It's always fun trying someplace new. Thanks for any tips!

Thank you, I saw this when I put it in the MFP search engine, but didn't see anything else. I will check out the site!0 -
I just got back from Universal/SeaWorld/Aquatica today, actually. I managed to lose 4 pounds, even with eating out every night. Generally, I just ordered the best option, usually a soup.0

Thanks! I'm thinking I'll be OK. As long as I'm being active, etc. I just like trying new foods! Supposedly it's going to rain in Orlando this weekend so I hope it doesn't ruin our plans..0 -
After living in Orlando for over a decade, there really isn't a lot of healthy restaurants out there. Anything healthy usually closed down within six months of opening. With that in mind these are the best options outside of the parks.
Sweet Tomatoes
Bahama Breeze
Carrabba's
Now if you are looking for options inside the parks I can help out with that, having worked at pretty much all of them while putting myself through college, I can help with that. Just let me know which one you are visiting and I can come up with a list.0 -

Ooohhh, we are visiting Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure! Thanks a lot because I thought about INSIDE the park after I posted this topic... haha0 -

Perfect, since I worked for them the longest! I suggest Mythos in IOA, they cook everything to order and I highly recommend their Cedar Planked salmon but it is not a seafood restaurant. I like their filet mignon but it's a tad on the pricey side. If you have any concerns dietary wise the chef will come out and discuss any concerns you might have and I have know them to make something completely off the menu for people.
Lombard's in Universal Studios is my other sit down restaurant I recommend and the chef will do the same thing they'll do at Mytho's. it's a Seafood restaurant, so crab legs, steak and chicken are the norm. I'd skip any of the counter service places in both parks as it's really a mass production of burgers, pizza and pasta. In Citywalk Bubba Gump is pretty decent as well as MargaritaVille. Skip NBA City and Hard Rock Cafe as they are also a mass production of burgers, pizza and pasta.0 -
